Payment methods
Payment must be made in full at the end of each session unless you have already paid in advance. If you are using a gift voucher or any other discount voucher you must present this at the end of your session as payment or part payment. Please also mention any voucher or offer when booking your appointment. I accept cash and cheques with a valid cheque guarantee card. I do not have the facilities to accept credit or debit cards at The Healing rooms at present. You can also pay in advance using PayPal. Please email me for more details.
Cancellation policy
Clients are advised that in booking an appointment they are reserving my time exclusively for their treatment. I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of any appointment to avoid incurring any charges. Charges are made at my discretion. Please telephone 07851 307 062 or email if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment.
Home visits in Bristol
Home visits are only available to female clients. If you are male, appointments are available at The Healing Rooms. Please ensure that you have a space clear, tidy and of an adequate size ready for me to set up my equipment when I get to your house. There is an additional £5 charge for home visits to cover petrol and travelling time. Please inform me of the parking situation at your house and whether there are any stairs at your property that I will have to take equipment up. Please note, not all treatments are available as a home visit - please visit the Home visits page for more details.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date can be found at the bottom right-hand corner of the gift voucher. Gift vouchers cannot be extended and are non-refundable. If you wish to change the type of gift voucher, there is a £5 administration charge in addition to any difference payable. When booking your appointment, please quote the gift voucher reference number which can be found on the bottom left-hand side of the voucher starting with GV. Gift vouchers can be used for treatments at The Healing Rooms and at your home however there is an additional £5 charge for home visits. Please note that the cancellation policy still applies to appointments being paid for by gift vouchers.
Appointments
There is no reception at The Healing Rooms, so please do not arrive
too early as I may be with a client and unable to open the door.
Please try to arrive on time for your appointments. If you are late, your treatment may be cut short.
Consultations
Before your treatment, a detailed consultation will take place. This will give me insight into any areas that may need particular attention and provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions. Please ensure that the information you provide is as accurate as possible.
Confidentiality
All information is kept confidential, but there are legal limits to my confidentiality. Situations which oblige me to break confidentiality are as follows: If you have committed a serious criminal offence, or are involved in terrorist activity; If a child is being abused; or If I consider there is a serious danger of you harming yourself or another person.
Contra-indications
Some medical conditions require consent from your doctor before a treatment can be performed. I have the right to refuse a treatment if you have a contra-indication which may affect the treatment.
Conduct
I have the right to refuse treatment if you behave in an inappropriate way or if you are intoxicated with alcohol or drugs.
