Planning Your Visit to Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in May 2021Planning Your Visit to Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in May 2021

Plan your visit to Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens by following the tips below on what to bring and what to see and do while you`re there.

Priority Health and Safety Efforts

The Conservatory is collaborating with municipalities and the state to ensure that all COVID-19 standards and criteria are met. Only with YOUR help as a tourist would we be able to keep our doors open.

We ask that our guests visit the Conservatory with only members of their immediate families, in accordance with the Health Advisory for Columbus and Franklin County residents.

We ask that you continue to follow the following protocols while visiting your immediate family:

If you are not feeling well or have COVID-19 symptoms, please return on another day. Use common sense precautions (e.g., wash hands, cover coughs, etc.) before, during, and after your visit.

Guests, including guests, must reserve a ticket prior to their visit. The ticket specifies an arrival time, but visitors are welcome to stay for the duration of the admission period. Separate admission tickets are required for the daytime and evening experiences (Chihuly Nights, Pumpkins Aglow, Conservatory Aglow, and so on).

Restricted Capacity: The property`s capacity will be limited, and tickets will be reserved based on timed arrivals.

Social Distancing: A gap of six feet or more between groups must be preserved at all times. Floor decals will be used to help distinguish areas that need a line.

To aid in social distancing, the Conservatory provides unidirectional pathways and wide, open spaces.

Pets (except Service Animals) are not permitted in the Conservatory or its outdoor areas.

Covers for the face: The Conservatory will require face coverings in both indoor and outdoor areas, in compliance with Governor DeWine`s reissue of the Statewide Mask-Wearing Order. Children will be granted exceptions.

Status of Reopening

The Conservatory is open in its entirety, and tickets can be reserved.

Our indoor and outdoor spaces are both available. However, capacity is restricted in some areas, and traffic via biomes is only one route. Please pay attention to signage and keep a safe distance between members of your immediate household and others.

To ensure protection, the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children`s Garden capacity will be reduced, but the restrooms will be accessible. Please keep a respectful distance between members of your immediate family and others. To ensure a clean and sanitary atmosphere, programming and certain play materials will be limited.
